Business Overview

Nippon Marine Enterprises' business consists of two segments: operating marine vessels and providing support for research projects. The first segment includes operating marine survey vessels, the manned research submersible Shinkai 6500, and unmanned exploration vehicles, all owned by JAMSTEC. Our expert staff ensures the safe and steady operation and management of submersibles and other special-purpose ships and vehicles, keeping them safe from marine accidents and running smoothly.
The second business segment provides support for physical oceanography and other marine surveys and includes a variety of related businesses, such as data processing services for survey results and the creation of documents. Our engineers, called marine technicians, once they have gained technical expertise, are continually accepting challenges on the seas as members of marine survey vessels.
